Been a Serato user (with the SL1 and Numark CDX's), fairly familiar with everything...

Just picked up the new TTM57SL mixer and a pair of CDJ-800's...set everything up step by step according to the directions...

I'm getting a high-pitched noise from both sides, as if I was using the SL1 box, playing the phono through the line. No idea what's going on, I have my players plugged into inputs 1 and 3, and those switches switched up to LINE.

Anyone awake, willing to help me out?

OK, haven't figured it out...can someone tell me the exact settings I need to get this working correctly? I have a feeling it's a soundcard issue, as the platter is controlling the signal (visually, in Serato), but all I'm hearing (in and out of the program) is the high pitched noise.

Going to try again in the morning...anyone?

All you need to do is set the input selectors to the correct setting.

Turn the knob to D1 for channel 1 and D2 for channel 2. It sounds like you have them set to A1 and A3 (which is why you can hear the control signal). You would only set them like this if you want to play normal CDs.

Yeah it sounds like you need to set the Input knobs to Digital( D1 and D3)

Lol I remember my first post about this exact same thing. I think nobspangle even copied and pasted that response cuz it looks so familiar!

LeeFinkel look at the top buttun left of treble gain on PGM 1 and to the right of treble gain on PGM 2. See the A and D under the numbers? Put PGM 1 on D 1 and PGM 2 on D2. That should do it.
