For anyone using the SCS.3 to control Serato, we have a new preset that adds a slew of new functionality. Not only does this new preset give you access to all of the new 1.92 features (like the sample banks), but it also has dedicated Video SL control.
And allows for direct manipulation of the waveform (for scratching, cueing, etc).
You'll also find documentation in the above post. And this preset is designed to work with one or two SCS.3ds.

at last the long-awaited preset for serato !
Here are my thoughts :
- first of all, i was surprised by the color-coding of DECK A vs DECK B (in DECK A, the 6 Buttons (Fx, eQ, etc. ) are blue, in Deck B, they are Red), when you use a single unit. Maybe it's a better way not to make mistakes.
EQ MODE :
- the B11 & B12 'Temporary Mute' mute the TWO DECKS simultaneaously. The same for Slider 3 & 5, and B13 and B14. Both act on TWO DECKS. Must be corrected, even if i don't know who can use these features...
It is a good idea to let a mode with user-assignable buttons.
LOOP MODE 1
- During my test, the 1/8 and 1/16th loops did not work. When LOOP ROLL MODE is on, the 1/8 and 1/16th loop buttons just call back the latest loop length used. Need to be fixed.
No 32 and 1/32 loop buttons. Doesn't matter for me but why don't you use the two zone up and down to do this ?
this is a good idea to make loop roll trigger, and another good idea is that when the trigger is on, the loop only works as long as the loop button is touched. Great !
TRIGGER MODE 2
good idea to implement the sampler. The use of Trigger/Hold/Single/Repeat is a little bit confused in the beggining. I can understand The sampler in SSL has a lot of function ('play from', pitch +/-...) which will be very complicated to implement in Scs3d. Anyway, a trigger to select the bank of the sampler would be very useful !
VINLY MODE
the Toggle View Panes still not include the Sampler... Another useful idea would be to toogle ON/OFF the view panes.
VINYL MODE 2
i am very impressed by the scratch feature ! At least your product name means something :-)
Must say the that the B13 and B14 do not PITCH Bend Up and Down but do a FFW/FRW which is slightly different...
In fact, i must admit i am pleased by the V2, essentially by the sampler mode implemented, and the loop mode fixed and improved. Just a few tings to fix (see above) and it will be perfect. Good work, guys.
all the same for me...
also notice in sample trigger mode you cant use both sample buttons (middle) at the same time..
you can hold down any combinations of buttons and trigger multiple sample's at one time w/ no problem.. but cant trigger both middle buttons at the same time (top/bottom middle) you can only use one at a time...def a bug.
ill keep you posted if i find more..
any answer on these bugs...
