We've been waiting a while for a VSL update and it seems like its not gonna happen at this point. Obviously im not in the know to have any idea what Serato's plans are, but I would love to have some of mix emergency's features. Mix Emergency has been out long enough where VSL should have caught up already. We've all paid our $180 for VSL on top of our SLbox or 57 price and we really shouldn't have to spend another $180 for mix emergency just to get a few features that we should already have. Could someone at serato or someone who knows please give us a heads up if there is a VSL update on the way or is mix emergency the way to go at this point. SSL itself is an amazing program and Video dj'ing is becoming more popular everyday, please continue to support VSL with feature updates as well. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I say buy it if that what you want to do...competition is always good but if your complaining coz of the price well that's the wrong reason. Why spend more money if you are already complaining that you already spent $200.00...VSL even at this point is solid and will continue to evolve...And I know there are definitely aware of ME''s but it does have an advantage...
VSL had two versions PC and MAC...while ME is MAC only. So the programmers at mix emergency can focus on one platform and features to work on one specific platform where as VSL staff (Nathan and crew) have to focus on the different graphic card config etc but answer you question GOOD stuff is coming coz that is the way this company rolls! But the good news is that whatever feature makes into the next version will be solid!
But go ahead and try another product if it suits your needs many people have both!
