anybody know of this dj? he was one of the nastiest mixtape djs out in jersey city, at least that i know of. he might've been bi-coastal. but this dude was mad nasty. i miss the mixtapes he would make from dancehall to rap to ol skool to underground etc. dude was one of the biggest reasons why i became a dj and why everybody else was a wanna-be dj. everybody i knew had his mixtapes. i just wanna give homey my props and respect for doing it and inspiring a brutha. you should belong in a hall of fame of djing.

yo 1st klass if you out there. give me a holler, man. i was a real big fan!!

and if anybody got his mixtapes, holler at me. i need a copy. lol.

I remember when DJ first klass called out DJ willie for making multitrack mixes and wanted to battle, dj willie backed down then gave some lame excuse.

I aint heard nothing from him in a min tho.

I grew up on First Klass's and Juice mixtapes! He was really an inspiration back then when multitracking, blends, and dancehall reggae was killing it.

I have a ton in my basement; I should cassette rip them LOL

I grew up listening to first klass...his mixes were on POINT! He always rocked that sample from No Second Class Love where buju says: "first class everytime"
Dude even had a record store back in the day I think. I remember rolling there when I was like 13

From what I know..he's from Jersey City. The most classic mixtape was him and Ed Swift... I'll ask Ed if he's got a copy and if he'll let us rip it

i cop the reggaenation cd and old school hip hop cd over the summer ... i need to get the butterblends cd they ran out at the time... that was the ish back in the day.... he came back and put them out on cds these days. dont know if he making a coming back but he was nice on the tables

ole is dead now days i heard i havent dj there about close to a year.... i hate that place lol been there too many years.... where grand banks at? when u rockin there i'll swing through and support let me know ... i cop the first klass cds at Jonroc record store on central ave. up in the heights... He gets all the locals djs blend tapes from nel E nel, 007, semaj etc. let me know i'll make u a copy of the 2 first klass mixtapes i got.

Nobody challenged me kid, INFACT....There hasnt been ONE MIXTAPE DJ that has yet to take the crown from me...And when I mean crown, I men I still own the 2006-2007-2008-2009 JUSTO LATIN MIXTAPE AWARDS (4 years straight)

I know it's a little late with the topic but yo, I'm looking for 1st Klass HipHop Vol. 20! I have many 1st Klass mixes that I converted to CD but the Vol 20 I had I can't find it! This was the best mix tape ever! Anyone have it, hit me up! fbjneon@hotmail.com

I knew him very well.. even worked with him a bit on trax and djing.. very talented dude but troubled. He was THE master mixtape dj back in the day with the edits, butta blends, scratching and more.. Thats one dude who should have gone a lot further than he did.. big inspiration to me and I'm glad someone shouted out and reconized him.. does anyone remember his "a little bit of love" blend?.. sick!!!

Yo I know this is late but dude fell off when ppl started coming out the closet for him. I remember he ran heavy w the MtV crew and he tried to kiss one of them in that astro mini van he used to rock. I think it was span or one of them dudes.
Too many rumors of him being gay went out and that was the last of him. He was nice on the turntables, I'll give him that but after a few incidents they started calling him first fag. He used to live behind the old medical center next door to another guy who used to like guys named willie. They hung out a lot.

1st klass was that dude he should of been famous so what if he was gay or not he had talent he help many dj,s in Hudson county with there intros and mixs wish he neva disappeared cuz I was a 1st klass mix tape junkie I remember on reggae 19 at the end of side b he mix a salsa song Jerry Rivera with shabba ranks twice my age that was dope]

Super late, but refresh my memory. Was vol 20 the second old school hip hop one he put out? The one with the 80's hip hop?

Kinda late to this, but i heard those rumors also about him being gay, so what?, he might be the most talented dj I ever thru into my tape deck his tapes rocked til they popped, I used to get them from JTB on Central Ave in Jc, I've managed to find 15 or so of his tapes online, but the one im looking for was around 1994 or 95, had this blend on it, S.o.S girls Just be good to me w/ Method Man All I Need
