I was in Guitar Center yesterday to see if they have any 57's in stock. I noticed they are selling the TTM-56 for $549 brand new, in the box! I was so sick!! Just a few months before the 57 came out I paid about $1,183 for a 56. Now I am stuck saving up for a 57 - and the brand new mixer I just bought is worth less than half of what I paid for it...

I guess that's what I get for not knowing the 57 was coming!

strange, i've bought the TTM-56 3 years ago for 520$.....

$1183 is really too much! You can get it cheaper even in Germany... and that means a lot ;)

$1183 is $300 more than it would cost in the UK and the UK is the place where replacement CV02 cost £15($28) each.

Sorry. Been away from forum for a while. I traded UNO my 57 for a 909 and SL1. I did this because the 909 had the inputs and outputs nedded for my weddings. The 56 was limiting me to 2 inputs and no XLR. I am finding every gig that these inputs and outputs are becoming extremley essential for me at gigs. The pioneer mixer is crazy; crazy input/outputs, the effects, and it has an auto beat counter. I regret not being able to stick to a Rane crossfader though! By the way, the deal went smoothly, Shouts out to UNO.

I recently dug up my receipt, and I don't know what I was thinking. I actually paid $736.09 after taxes. My bad! I'm still not happy about buying the 56 right before the 57 came out, but like I said, I guess that's what I get for not being "in the know." I'm not too worried about it though, I'll just find a place for an "oldschool" dj setup with some hip hop records on shelves, two turntables, and the 56. I have like 40 boxes of records stacked up on a wall at my new place waiting to be unpacked. Since I've been using SSL the past year I've just bought all new music in .mp3.

cMo I wouldn't feel bad if I were you. I traded a 57 I had on order for a 56 + Sl1...after originally selling my 56 to buy the 57...anyway, without dissing on the 57, I think there are good reasons some people would be better served with the older combo.;)

yeah, I'm sure I'll find a use for it some day. My 2016 XP & MP are collecting dust too - along with my Pioneer mixer. I would sell some of my gear, but you never know when you are gonna need some extra gear.............
