I imagine there won't be much shit talking in this thread, but everyone pretty happy with Beezo? With Soundcloud seemingly on the downturn I'm looking to suck it up, pay the $30 or whatever, and throw my mix on the "top tier" site as I perceive it to be.

I'm happy with beezo. I've had my mixes on there for a few months and have received great feedback and recognition from being on the site.

i've also had the chance to network with other djs and booked gigs out of it.

It's up to you though, do what you want to do with your dj career. For me, it was a positive move and its paying off. I've had friends that thanked me for getting on that site because it made it easier for them to tell their friends about my mixes by simply going to my profile page.

I have my own website (thanks ricky @96firm.com) that streams my mixes and links to my beezo profile.

But like I said, do what you want to do.

Props to enrie for starting that website and to all the other djs that upload their mixes on there.

Unfortunately, I didn't. They had a djm800 there so I couldn't record it.

I played mostly house music. I've been diggin for a bunch of tracks and played everything I wanted to play.

I also played some uptempo jiggy shit. The owner of the venue does not want to hear anything below 110 bpms. If you're the headliner, you could get away with playing some slower stuff here and there. As an opener, you have to keep it uptempo.

It's pretty challenging doing that especially if you're opening for two people. I was searching for some uptempo hip hop that I wanted to play and the first track I dropped was Rodney O and Joe Cooley - U don't hear me though. That was my first time playing that track since high school.
