2.4 ghz will get interfered with my almost every other wireless device out there, cell phones, wireless mics, etc.

I guess it all depends on the budget. I cannot really think of anything I would use in a club environment for less and $1,000. What are you looking to spend?

Well first off let me say that I'm not a "cheapest thing" kinda guy. The club that I play in every weekend has everything set up already. But I'm looking for something that will work, for a every now and then situation. I don't wanna drop a grand on something I'm not going to use a lot. In the particular club I want to get this for, The TV is only about 20ft away from me. Which is why I was thinking the above unit would be fine. My only question is, A LOT of companies are selling 2.4ghz signal transmitters. And if they didn't work for a small application like what I'll be doing, why would they keep selling them? Now Justin I'm not saying you are wrong. I just like to take in as much information as possible. With that being said, I appreciate all of your input. Thanks

If it's just 20 feet away wouldn't a cable just be better...and cheaper?
As to the 2.4 systems...please by all means try one of them out. Hopefully you will not have any interference issues. Just remember that in these cases it's almost never about the distance but what in the area.
The other thing you need to worry about is latency. The cheaper models have a delay that is noticeable in a nightclub setting. Make sure that you get one that works with your delay that is set-up in your eq processor. MOst rooms only use a 20 ms delay so that's a tight fit.
I'll look for a good 2.4 system and get back to you on that.

Any money you spend on a wireless transmitter that is less than about $1,000 is throwing your money away. You won't find a product that is usable in that price range. If you do, let me know and I'll buy it too.

a 20-30 foot coax wire costs maybe 10 bux @ home depot...slap 2 coax to rca adapters on each end (also avail @ home depot) and for 16 bux you got your prob solved.

I play at a lot of different places randomly and I wanted a solution instead of running cables in every club downtown, lol. But, I guess that's what I'll do.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to discourage a wireless solution. I've been eyeing some for myself. They're all about $1500 - $5000. I'd love to be proven wrong here, and someone really does find a wireless solution that works for less than a grand. Please do!

Agreed. I have all my own cables and adapters for any situation for the first few gigs. After the venue really likes the concept I tell them what they need to do or get. They either say: "Alright, we'll take care of it" -or- "Can u pick that up and get the receipt? We'll reimburse you" <-- That last one usually means they're too busy or think they will mess it up. Either way no cost to you.
