Hey guy's

Venturing into the world of video mixing sortly and want to know a few things as i am quite new to this.

Bought a new HP 6730B laptop 2 months ago specs:

Intel dual core T5870 2ghz processor, 2.93GB of ram, and 500Gb hard drive

runs serato sl1 like a dream never any issues it dosnt go on the internet, only runs serato and has been configured for best performance also runs XP

anyone using one of these, will this machine be ok ?

What video card does it have in it?

Dual core..and you at least should have core 2 duo and the processor speed is too slow
2 ghz it should be 2.4 or better. I have a pc with 2ghz and I have issues but I have a core2duo. VSL will give you problems on that laptop but try it and if it doesn't work upgrade to the best specs don't settle for minimum specs.

hmm yeah very true dont want my club grinding to a hault when it crashes, guess ill go mac the prices have dropped a little as well, thanks guys
