I have a CDJ100. The audio outputs of the CDJ100 are connected to PGM 1 1 on a Rane TTM57 SL - left to left, right to right. The Rane in turn is connected to some monitored speakers. When I play a regular CD the speakers work - I can hear the music. I then pop in the Serato control CD and connect the Rane via USB to a PC running Windows XP SP2 running a version of Serato I downloaded the other day. When I load one of the mp3's into the left virtual deck and try to play it via control of the CDJ100 nothing happens. I can however play songs in the virtual deck 100% controlling it from knobs on the Rane. I have tried two control CD's. The dip switches on the RANE are all in the UP position and PGM1 is set to Analog 1 and the 1 is lit up. Also J1, Deck 1 and 'Stereo House ' are on. Any assistance is appreciated.

Possible CDJ 100 is only a CD player and does not read digital/mp3 discs. The control disc may not be formatted properly

When you are playing on Serato via ABS or REL mode do you have your channel one input set to D1 on the mixer?

Yeah when you're playing control cd's the pgm knobs should be set as follows Left deck (left pgm knob) to D1 position & right deck (right pgm knob) to D2 position.
