Can my 57SL be a MIDI controler for ABLETON ?

I only use my Mixer to record my mixes but I don't really know all the features. Can some one tell me if Ableton will work using this mixer as a MIDI controller and if so how do I do that ?

No, the 57 is does not do/send MIDI, it uses proprietary control information.

If you want a dirt cheap and compact controller, look at the Korg NanoKontrol. $50. 9 knobs, 9 sliders, 18 buttons (x4 scenes, so theoretically 36, 36, 72).

if you're looking for a decent midi/mixer at a great price. korg zero 4 is awesome.
