HI, FIRST TIME USER .
How do you contact web admin for whitelabel.net, i wish to report dead links. several songs show in the top tens but you cant play them and when you search for the same song its not in the database. Anyone got any ideas, thanks

just read the faq about restrictions on downloads. If a single has a release in a teritory how come it isn't available through whitelabel. After all thats what it is supposed to do. Whitelabel will not interest me if songs i need or want are not available. Simply stating a legal reason as the cause is not a satisfactory excuse in my opinion. Surely if you have the label signed up then you have their releases?

Then, um, what kind of reason would you prefer? We're keen to provide you with as much music as possible but we're not prepared to break the agreements we have with record labels to do it. That would be seriously shooting ourselves in the foot.

It's not that simple. Labels have independent divisions that work in different geographical regions. If we deal with, say, an American division of a record label there's no guarantee that they'll have the rights to release the track to people outside of North America.

It can be frustrating I know, but we're constantly looking for ways to get more music to as many people as possible.

fair enough i was alittle rash. The point i was trying to make is that there are tracks on here released in the uk yet not for download, are there different restrictions on promos then? Frustrating , yes i agree, trouble is i don't have enough time to search for hours for songs so i tend to go where i get the best results, amoung others i use cd pool , djcity, juno etc. I would of course be happy to use witelabel.net as i am sure this is your aim, but after just putting in a couple of test searches and finding nothing, and most of your top ten's are not available to me in this region, i don't see how whitelabel can be any use to me . I am sure i am not the only one who thinks this. I appreciate my first comments probably came over as niev , but i am not just another forum twat, i am 34 years old and do a couple of residencies in clubs in the southeast and just want a good reliable source of genuine tracks. Thing is i would be the first to rave about this site if i got results. Anyway i shall search for some tunes in a week or so and reserve judgement a little longer

I understand your frustration MONKEYBUTLER and I assure you that we're hard at work trying to open up our music selection to as many people as possible.

Bear in mind that Whitelabel.net is a totally legit source of promo source. This means striking deals and signing contracts, and this takes time.

So hang in there and check back from time to time. If you find something you like download it and, even better, post some feedback in the Release Feedback forum area: www.whitelabel.net

Every little bit of activity on the Whitelabel.net website increases it's value in the eyes of record labels. This encourages them to use the service more and this, in turn, means more music for you and everyone else :-)

just one more question, your top ten weekly, only 4 are available for download in my area, 2 of which are compilations. Would it not be more practical to only show territorial charts , because to be honest only negative thoughts are gained from this. it would be far more positive for your site to be able to download all tunes on view, i dont understand the point of being able to see songs which you cannot download. I do think a more positive first impression would help you guys , anyway i am sure you have it in hand

territorial charts

Nice idea. Most of the time the releases in the top ten have been worldwide releases (because there are more DJs that can download worldwide releases), but that's been turned on it's head recently with lots of US releases being hit bigtime.

Totally.

Thanks for the feedback.
