make / model????
Is it a midi controller or an actual audio mixer?
Do you already own a mixer and just want to use the ION as an exra MIDI controller?
Do you own a SL-1, SL-3 box or a ttm 57 (serato interface)
In not knowing these things I can't say much however that's not going to stop me having my $0.02 woth anyway... I'd sat stay clear of ION products as they normally have REALLY bad build quality. Numark is getting better however you do need to pick your products as they stil produce a lot of crap. I don't know your mixing style so I can't make any recomendations.
