Problems running dual programs?

Just wondering if anyone has had problems running Reason or Abelton at the sametime on the same laptop as SSL. I have two latops, but if I dont have to bring both I'd rather not.

I know P.V.D runs to lappys, but I wonder if thats because thats his setup specificly.
