my question is ,I have a Stanton S-650 MKII pro dual CD player ,it's about 4 years old ,with the small wheels on top, they are not the ones you can do scracthing .it has 2 digital output in the back ...
Can i use it with scracth live or do I have to get a different kind of CD players.....like the new one with the big wheels like the pioneer or denons single cd.
thanks..

use Turntable CD players or CD players with Vinyl simulation..
u wont be able to consistently cue a track for beat matching or mixing with typical cd players...

You can use any cd player, including a cheap walkwan style cd player with scratch live. I wouldn't recommend it, but you can.
That aside, look for features and a 'feel' that you like.
Some of the most common are:
Pioneer CDJ 800
Pioneer CDJ 1000
Denon 3500
Denon 5000
Technics SL-DZ1200
But any player will work.

It all comes down to what sort of 'feel' you want and additional features. You could use a sony discman with SSL if you wanted to. ;-)
