What features would you like to see in Serato software?

4 player decks on ssl and a hybrid ssl box (firewire/usb)

having 4 player decks on ssl would make it the perfect dj software ever!!!!! also it would be nice to have a hybrid ssl box firewire and usb.... just dont od on the price.... i would not pay more then 600 $$ usd......lol, what u guys think????

wtf is the point of 4 decks? (excuse my ignorance) seriously......we have the sampler now with 4 banks (6x4=24 :) ) so in a sense that's 8 different songs or samples at any given time

+1 on the usb/firewire thing though

so stay with the sl1 and use the samplers as virtual decks. done.

not that good if you want to cue up, or mix them....they need ther own channel on mixer and a turtable to control them

um........Instant Doubles should do this trick correct?

what?? put them onto there own channel on mixer to allow eqing etc.......no

control from turntable.......no

so you cant do juggles on 2 decks and jump to3rd for a little cutting.......

the sampler is just a sampler..... im talkin about 2 extra decks.... fully fuctional that we can control like the regular decks.... i love to remix/blend live, and with NO KEYLOCK like i use to do when i was on cds (in which u need full control)..... is not the same having the sampler and doing a instant double then having a extra deck.... i believe that adding the extra decks will be the best serato could ever do

oh yeah...... i forgot say ..... the box should be firewire and usb and ALSO 4 inputs and 4 outputs, u know.... to control the extra decks.... the serato people are smart enough (i believe) to figure it out...lol

Not going to happen. Scrach Live will ONLY work with Rane devices! If you want 3 decks you´ll need a SL3, 4 decks means you will need 2 pieces of Rane SL hardware!

um... NO, your still only cueing up one thing


I am nearly convinced that additional decks will be making an appearance in Version 2, Rane has already said 3rd deck support IS coming (watch the SL3 release video), if Serato is undertaking additional decks they need to do it right! And it is a HUGE undertaking. The first ray of light shines out of Xone:DX and its support of 4 decks in Itch. Look to the future
