Kali is whack. NYC, home of the ORIGINATORS!. California, home of the imitators. Nothing good ever came out of Cali other than Gangsta rap and all that did was kill two of hip hop's most promising stars.

If you're into hip hop you should check out beat lounge tonight at poleng lounge in sf. Some of the illest dj's in the city will be there... Shortkut, Apollo, Vin Roc, Mr E, Swiftrock just to name a few.

i grew up in vallejo, moved to benicia, and now orinda. so yeah im in the east bay now
