last week i went out and bought a whole set up with serato and have just been messing around with it. i think its really cool and am learning new things about the program every day.
im teaching myself how to beat match and expanding my library daily and constantly updating bpms. i need some sort of path to start on so i know that im going in the right direction with learning. if any of you djs out there can kick me down some advice that would be great, right on. also if anyone could reccomend a good book or websites or forums that can help get me started with basics that would also be great. or if anyone would like to be my coach let me know... thankyou

Welcome to jkar. My best advice is learn beatmatching. I think that's the most important aspect of DJing.
