Latency Control in Logic

Anyone know how to minimize latency (playback vs recording delay) when recording in Logic? I'm runnin Logic Express and using the Digidesign mBox as the soundcard. When I multitrack record, the songs are beat matched perfectly live, but during playback of the recording, it sounds like hell - off beat, etc. I heard the lower the buffer, the lower the latency. I'm running Logic at 32 out of 1024 (the lowest buffer) and it's still not working right. Any suggestions? Settings? I'm kinda new to Logic.
I'm using the mBox in order to have split/mixed monitoring. I.E., be able to monitor the previously recorded tracks along with the live playback.

There should be an "recording offset" setting somewhere. Its in cubase and I cant imagine Logic lacks that.

Okay. It seems like that's going to move the tracks backwards and not really control the latency. I'm going to try it though.
