i just notice for the first time ever as i was playing my clip light would start blinking it not the protection light but i wanted to know if it is something to wory about and also what is it for?

The clip light tells you that the input signal to the amp is too hot. You need to turn down the mixer or whatever else you have plugged in or use some kind of compressor/limiter.

isn't that kinda like the usb light? you might have dust bunnies on your needlez

The clip light is politely telling you to turn it down.

I think it means your sub cant handle the power & you better turn that shit down before it blows

I used to push 400watss into my 18's & hardly clipped
Now I bridged my amps & run 800 into each 18 & it'll clip

Whenever that red light comes on I adjust the base down a bit.....

it is excruciatingly painful to walk in to a room where the sound is piercing yours ears from the distortion, its a special kind of pain, that just centers right in the canal of the ear drum. to me it sounds like a fierce waterfall SHHHHHHHHH, with snares and kicks. it is terrible. i can't believe people dance to sound like that, drunks....
