But does anybody know how to link the external cross fader with the video sl fader? When im mixing the only thing that fades is audio. I cant get the video to fade at the same time from my mixer.

TTM57SL will work, or a mixer with midi, or a midi controller.
57 is the easiest.

upgrade your DJM 300 to an 800 and you'll be good to go!

by the way, by what mechanism were you hoping your mixer crossfader would control a software program that it has no connection to?
