I never seem to have enough time, but that's just because of the way that I play. SSL does make everything easier to find, which has made a lot of things that I do faster, but I still seem to run out of time...

yeah i am not good enough yet to be completely busy every song that plays, so depending on the song I either try to make eye contact with people to get them live or smoke an L (only at house parties tho haha)
If its a trash song I fucks with the EFX alot just to take my mind off of how bad the song is.

I probably play more songs now because I don't have to let them run as long. I also play with the lights a lot more.

i tend to drink a lot more...and then i text message barry and tell him how professional i look getting twisted in the booth and count my money.

You can only mess with the EQ's and stuff like that for so long, nice to talk to chicks, but not enough time. I'm talking about the time when the verse is playing and you've already thought about the next few songs your gonna play, so you don't really have to do anything to do. Beat, takes you a few seconds to match. Now, I know why heckno djs play with the knobs so much. I was just curious to see what everyone else does during that time.

actually for me, once i get the sound going, i'm busy setting up lighting and tidying up wiring and hiding case covers and bags.

once everything is finally done, and i'm set... while songs are playing (quick mix is my forte as well), i'm busy setting up the review or preview crate.... building a playlist from the requests and what ever pops in my lil pea brain at that moment.....i also go through the last gigs (i usually dump all the songs played that evening into it's own folder)

but i mix to quick..even if i dont have serato theres never enuf time but if there is ever i just look at the crowd and read it...because afterall thats who were suppose to be pleasing BUT i doesnt hurt to get pleased aswell
