I have been looking to buy a laptop that would be a dedicated SSL machine but as cash is tight right now i've been looking for a resonable cheap one.
I saw an advert in the newspaper today for this one
www.comet.co.uk
As i know very little about computers can some one please tell me what they think
1 will this run SSL no problem
2 is that worth the cash
3 if not can you recommend a good laptop at a similar price
Thanks in advance

Yes i know about the search feature!!
But the problem i have is i am wanting a cheap laptop, i aint as rich as all of you superstar dj's and everytime i search on this site the results i get are things like $2000 macs and thats out of my price range
Rather than take all the time running searches of your own and posting the links above would it not have been as quick to have looked at the link i posted and replyed

You could find (easily) a used iBook or Powerbook in good condition that would be more than capable of running SSL for well under a grand. Anything that has a G4 running 1Ghz or faster, and with at least 512mb of RAM should work very nicely.
