ok so i just picked up 2 1200 mk5 now i noticed when i opened them one was packed as if it was opened already for example the counter weight was on the tone are already the headshell didnt have the wires to conect the needle to also it didnt have the extra one gram weight and the technic sticker was missing so i figured no big deal as long as they spin corret so i hook them up everything the same needles and all and i notice that the on table that seemed to be open needs more weight on the tone arm to keep track for example i balance and adjust weight on the 1st table and still had about 3 and a half lines extra to the left of the center line now on the 2nd turn table (same needles and everything i notice that i had to actually put the counter weight closer to the needle only had about 2 lines to the left of the center line so is this normal or should i take it back to gc and ask for a new one

Get a new one. You paid for a brand new 1200. Get a brand new 1200.

I just wanted to know if the pitch % matched up better than the MK2 or M3D. The 5G is digital and I haven't had a chance to really verify how accurate the MK5 is. I know the RCA cables are different on that model.

man, that story reminded me of a story i read for my kids, about this lil girl who did a lil breakin n entering...ate the bear's fud and broke the lil bear's chair and fell asleep in his bed.
