Anyone got any ideas when this is gonna land. I did here rumours that it was gonna be this year but it has been put back a little. Gonna write one in to next years kit budget and an SSD. Still with my macbook which has been an absolute trooper the past 2 years but time to upgrade.
That being said it still runs 2 hd videos at 55-60 fps but I am using a really hot visually perfect wavlet codec that cost me £500 squid( uk slang ) thats absolutely perfect for both editting and performance (bit heavy though 3mins HD video sets me back 1/2 a Gig so an hours AV show is around 10gig of memory) well worth it for the quality on larger screen rigs!

Rumors are this year 4th quarter along with Snow Leopard. Give it 6 months or 1 revision until all the bugs and kinks are worked out and you should be good.

I plan on picking up a quad core macbook pro as soon as they drop.
Also waiting on the highly rumored "Netbook"
The more processing power, the merrier....right?

I don't think apple will make a netbook. Maybe just make the macbook line a little less.
