Purple Haze?

Purple Haze?

I receive video from a few different sources. When i look at them on their site, the video is fine. But when i play it on my VSL it has a purple haze 9 out 10 times. They play normal on my real player and this is what has me stumped. I am new to the video mixing (doing it myself) and would like some help please. I use a Dell if that helps.

that is interesting. i have a digital camera that suddenly started dispaying a pink/purple highlight on any bright scource of light. does your problem occur only during a bright section of video or just constantly?

Constantly. So then i tried it on another laptop and it works fine....but now the laptop wont recognize my TT 57sl in and usb port. The light goes on then off. I cant win for losing.
