Video SL Resource Usage

Thinkpad T61P Core2Duo 2.2GHZ, 3GB DDR2 800 RAM, 512MB DDR2 video
Vista 32 ultimate

Video SL is using 20% CPU resources and 50MB RAM at startup. What gives? There's no video loaded and SL usb box is not connected. There is no reason for this plugin to be consuming resources when idle.

you should do a search trust me you will find your anserer. t I will save u some time and abuse. Even though there is no video running the pluggin is. U want to know more do a search it has been discussed a million times on the fourms since the first day VSL hit the set... Peace and good luck.

I did search, nothing relevant popped up, hence the post.

If you have a relevant link please post.

I don't care about abuse or flames, just seeking a resolution or a planned update.

An idle plugin consuming that much of resources is a design flaw.
