Installing Serato and the Plugin

Hey everyone!!! I've just bought Serato and the Video plugin - I have a PC with Intel Core 2 Duo 2.80 ghz processor, 3.25 gb RAM, GEForce 9400 Video Card with 1GB DDR2 and 1.5TB HDD....
Can someone give me a step-by-step breakdown on how to install to ensure the video plugin and serato features work e.g. pitch control???
Also, can I use AVI videos with the plugin and if so, what are the recommended codec settings?

Update...I've managed to get the videos playing complete with audio...they had to be encoded in mp4 as none of my avi or mov videos would play with audio! Problem though is that I can't get the pitch control to work!!! One of my mates told me to disable the key control on my DVJ and this would do it so I'll try it out this week when I get time!!!

ummm dont use the key control.......Use the key control in serato
