Well, I also know /ignore SpinThis! would be set too, man. I seriously think that is a stupid suggestion. A certain kind of people like you and Mr. Spin might want that feature, others not.

it might be nice on a thread-by-thread basis: give a chump a chance before ignoring their ignorance.

DJ 3pm, I wouldnt want to ignore a whole thread. Also might be some users who just jump to every thread and spoil them with some smart'n'clever comments which are not usefull.

Might wanna ignore people who can't spell properly...Enough said.

BTW, Rev, you have started a discussion about spelling before with some other guy. Honestly, I prefer someone with bad spellings who has got some relevant things to say over to someone who just talks irrelevant things (you sound like puffy with all your "yeah") bla bla but spells w/o any mistakes.

Like editing posts, ignoring them can lead to confusion. For example you'll see a quote and think "Where on earth did that come from?" since the original poster was on your ignore list.

Makes sense. But I thought at least tagging a thread as "new" could be changed in a way that it ignores new posts from certain users.
