Hi,
could you implement a function so that posts from certains users A wont be marked as new for user B? Or even hide them at all for user B :-P So guys (A) that are sick of my (B) bla bla could easily ignore my posts. ;-)

i dunno... if i was on IRC right now, you know /ignore Revolutionary would be set. ;)

SpinThis! you're the man ;-)
Rev, don't discredit my suggestion. It was meant serious.

Well, I also know /ignore SpinThis! would be set too, man. I seriously think that is a stupid suggestion. A certain kind of people like you and Mr. Spin might want that feature, others not.

it might be nice on a thread-by-thread basis: give a chump a chance before ignoring their ignorance.
nik39
10:27 PM - 3 December, 2004
DJ 3pm, I wouldnt want to ignore a whole thread. Also might be some users who just jump to every thread and spoil them with some smart'n'clever comments which are not usefull.
Revolutionary
10:29 PM - 3 December, 2004
Might wanna ignore people who can't spell properly...Enough said.
nik39
10:38 PM - 3 December, 2004
It would hurt me if you were ignoring me. Enough said.
BTW, Rev, you have started a discussion about spelling before with some other guy. Honestly, I prefer someone with bad spellings who has got some relevant things to say over to someone who just talks irrelevant things (you sound like puffy with all your "yeah") bla bla but spells w/o any mistakes.

nik39, it isn't hard to spell correctly ... when all you do is cut and paste a few tired phrases like "yeah", "take a walk", "enough said", etc.
Revolutionary

Yo, listen. That just sounded stupid, FS-Sucker. That was a rather sad attempt...

Revolutionary

Well, why on earth are you reading it if you feel that it's a waste of time? Just asking.

because it keeps popping up as unread. would have thought that was obvious...even to someone like you Rev.

feniks, as you say
... implementing my suggestion would save you to read threads spoiled my me.. or anyone else you would like to ignore :-)

Exactly. Then Mr. Important here can spend his well-earned time on something else...
Good thing you're reading these posts, feniks.

Ok firstly, @ Revolutionary, saying that someones idea is stupid, is of no use to anyone. If you disagree, state why, but do it politely.
This board isn't here for people to air petty differences.
Secondly perhaps if you don't really have anything to add to a thread, then don't post in it.
That said it's not that hard to just scroll past posts you're not interested in guys...

I can't help it. That's just the type of guy I am.
And Josh, what can a user expect when making a thread like this? This was clearly aimed at me.
But again, you guys always support nik and his friends. No big surprise there.

Revolutionary, the point people are trying to make, perhaps gently, is that you are a pest.
You rarely contribute anything of value.
This is a SUPPORT forum, not a place for general chit-chat. Perhaps you would be happier, and more welcome, in a more general purpose DJ forum such as Skratchworkz.

Well, I didn't take it that way.
I have no idea what you're talking about.

nik39,
Like editing posts, ignoring them can lead to confusion. For example you'll see a quote and think "Where on earth did that come from?" since the original poster was on your ignore list.
Its not going to happen.

Makes sense. But I thought at least tagging a thread as "new" could be changed in a way that it ignores new posts from certain users.

FS-Sucks. I rarely see you contribute anything of so-called value either. This ain't support-forum. That's the help-thing. Go there if you need help sorting out your life, which you obviously do.
Good thing, Dave.
