i guess i could try this, but when deleting from the library using this technique, does it also delete the metadata like the ovb and xml files also?
if not, do u think it should? part of me says yes, since u can always recover from the recycle bin....

Good question, how to delete a metadata? Should we search the deleted video name and then do the search again? Kinda slows down the "cleaning" process.

deleting the metadata would be nice.... I deleted some videos this way...
I re-edited the videos by replacing the audio (video was lagging a bit), but because I named the files the same way, the loops, cues and autogain were from the old audio: loops and cues were off, and new audio was a good 6 dB louder
not a big deal, but a bit of a pain. I just have to name the edited file differently
