I just thought I'd post my new studio setup here. I was using an old desk before, and just had this one built for use with my new powerbook. It's NON-mobile, but the top flips up to gain access underneath easily. Thanks to Cutrix for posting his up, I kinda copied his design...

Wow, great minds must think alike =]
That exact setup has been on my wishlist for a while now and I've been saving up. I'm planning to purchase those minus the laptop since I already have one. How is that setup? Mad props!

Thet setup works really good for me. It fits in the corner of the room nicely giving me room for all my other equipment.
I just had it made for me, so it's a custom coffin/table. I wrote down dimensions of all my equipment and figured out exactly how I wanted everything and gave it to a carpenter I found on craigslist. Cost me $210 for everything. I'm not exactly happy with the paint job, but for the price, it's pretty good.

I was scared to do mine for a while, and I read on Skratchworx that it took like 5 min to do. So I did one (10 mins) and then the other one (5 min) it started buggin out (one side) after about a week, and after looking again it was a loose connection making the pitch go crazy... but its been all good ever since
