LOL!! Not trying to be modest. Just don't want to be like "check my shit out" when it's whack. But not using after effects. All my edits are done using FCP. I do have after effects, adobe premier, shake and a bunch more other programs, but haven't even touched them yet. Still trying to Master FCP. What I need to learn is how you did the 3d box motion in your Day and Night vid. The first time I seen that done is when Twizzle did it with his Britney Spears remix. What program are you using to do that djpuma? Also wanted to say your Poison( Tittsworth B-more vid is dope. I had a copy of that when you put it up for downlaod. But my damn computer crashed and lost that vid. I was going to copy your style, but can't get a good copy of the scrubs video.

Good looking out D-Twizzle. I haven't messed with motion. Hopefully I can find something online that will help me get started. Some kind of YouTube tutorial. But I'm hooked on video editing. Getting a little bit passed the basics and trying to reach up to beta testers status.

It's really not that complicated, once you get it down. I struggled for months with it and last week I finally just sat there and thought about how it works.

I feel like redoing the scrubs edit, that was way back when i just would line up the audio to video. Trying to brand out and do bigger things, without being too over the top.

My bad Puma I type to fast and never read it. I would say this, I hope you don't change like others and only do 130 bmps mixes. Im down south and to be honest that shit don't fly in Texas. That's why I like you (Puma) and Daddydog becasue you still stay in the Hip-Hop relm and not so much go-go or dance. I just wish there were more R&B remixes. Also I forgot to say that Rebelguy for your first uptempo edit I think you been editing longer than you say, it was so good that you made Daddydog go put in some work, good job. How about you guys do the reverse and down tempo some your mixes.. Let me see some of those.

Actually I usually just make videos to stuff I can't get a video to. I will work on some downtempo stuff soon.

I'll make downtempo versions of electro songs. STANKY leg style.

Personally I'm more in favour of uptempo/dance remixes - but that's the European style.

The crowds also love R'n'B (not so much hip hop), but they love the big club versions too.

Maaaaaannnnnnn....you guys got me so motivated right now I can't sleep. I'm about to make my purchase in the next few days and I need your expert or pre-expert advice. Vegas or Premiere? I'm leaning towards premiere because I already use Audition for my Audio mixes. Also...are there any links for tutorials on how to create the remixes that you would recommend?

I wouldn't suggest one over the other as I've only used Vegas, but from what I hear Vegas has a faster learning curve.

Youtube has loads of tutorials, as does the Vegas Forum.

Not to answer Bren's question, but yes you can. Probably not as good as ableton or audition, but I've done several remixes with Vegas (Audio only)

I had a school project that I had to edit in Premiere, and had never used it before. I have been using Adobe Audition since back in the days when it was called Cool Edit. Being familiar with audition definitely helped work with Premiere. Once you load your video files, it's just like auditions track mixer. Just cut, move, splice, and export the final mix.
