The idea was the effect, when activated would freeze the frame, and the parameter would adjust the fade out. (Transparent fade over the running video.)

Seems simple enough..

can be used to freeze the video to the beat by using the momentary bypass.
can be used to hold a picture up on the screen while the music still plays. (I can see doing that at a wedding or private party with some pics of the bride and groom)

this would be even cooler, if there was a little flash when activate

I just added a nano-kontrol and I find that I use the effects a lot more with the quick select and bypass buttons mapped out.
