Is my Macbook capable of doing VSL?

I have a 2.2ghz Black Macbook maxed out at 4 GB of ram. Its about 14 months old. It works perfectly with SL and my Rane ttmsl but I am not sure how it will do with VSL? Anyone out there using just a 13" Macbook for video?

Off the top of my head I am going to say that you will have issues with that video card and VSL.

Opps, did a search and it seems to work fine.

anyone else run it or have any issues? I just would hate to spend the $200 and come to find out I need a new laptop.

Well, even if you get the new laptop you would still have to spend the 200.00. But all is not lost, there is a free demo version of VSL and you can try it out all day long if you wish...as long as you don;t mind a big logo to look at while you do.

Actually my friend has that same computer. We just tested. The video was jumpy if you had it to high. Definitely test on the demo.

runs fine on my 2.0 black book w/2GB ram. you will just be missing some effects.

use medium setting for quality
