What resolution do you guys set your secondary display? What display device do you output to and how do you send the video signal?

mobile guys I especially want to hear from...

personally, for mobile: my secondary display on my MBP is set to 800x600, mini DisplayPort to VGA converter, VGA converter to VGA distribution amplifier, distribution amp to one or more SVGA projectors (or 40" HDTVs).

for clubs: in my case, I always went 800x600 via mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter, VGA to composite scan converter, to composite or s-video input on club's switcher.

the majority of my library I encoded is set at the setting Serato tells you. MP4 container with H.264 video at 2000kbps and AAC audio at stereo 160kbps/ 720x480

I've stared at these videos for hours. what settings do you think is best and why?
