Cool. I would like to see this on the wiki ;)
A short summary (table style), with pro's and con's would be good.

Well, I would, if I'd get some critizism back on my rough draft review. We need to chat if you want this on the wiki with pros and cons. I just did a mix recording session. It recorded in the Serato Recording folder as a Serato Recording 2.aif and I copied it into a seperate folder and then I closed out of SSL, and it was gone. Luckily I saved it somewhere else.

I guess I didnt read the record part of the user manual fully. I got the mix anway. I'm going to upload the mix now. I only had 3 USB audio dropouts. 2 about ever 25 minutes. Still same as when I had my SL1. Ohh well, its prolly my Mac mini it doesnt like.

I'm on chat now, and I got a pros and cons list started for my review:
Pros:
1. You can build overviews, simply by turning off the mixer and not having to unplug the USB cable from the mixer to the PC.
2. The mixer has a built-in soundcard with ASIO for the PC and Core audio drivers for Mac OS X. (TTM57SL Line 1 USB and TTM57SL Line 2 USB).
3. You can enjoy mixing with turntables or CD decks without the need to ever use the mouse and keyboard to control the SSL software.
4. The Rane TTM 57SL scratch mixer is simular to the TTM 56. So, you can use it for battle scratch DJs or you can adjust the contours of the crossfader or faders for Club DJ use.
5. All-in-one mixer with the SSL hardware box inside, so you don't need to use the SL1 box with the software and have less wires for faster hookup times.
Cons:
1. Your limited to 2 built-in efects.
2. The mixer is in high demand so it maybe hard to get one.
3. As a stand-alone mixer, you'll find it difficult in using the built-in effects without the SSL software GUI.
4. The small recessed round buttons feel cheap and can toggle on or off if you press them too quickly with variable pressure on them.
5. You still can't assign everything from the SSL software to anywhere on the mixers SSL control surface area's buttons, P1/2 and joysticks.
6. The street price for a Rane TTM57SL is around $1300.00 USD.
7. With all the SSL hardware inside the mixer, you may run into a place that won't allow you to switch out their mixer with this mixer. So you may still want to keep your SL1 box for easy installs to gigs.

I was on, had to go eat dinner. I just updated my review. I plan on updating it with some pictures of my mixer.
The above Pros and Cons are free for discussion. How many more do you think I need to add?

You dont "have" to add, just add what you think is worth being mentioned.
Okay, lets start the discussion about the points:
pro-1 : I dont see this as a pro, this is a lack of feature which the SSL software has. It should be possible to disable the SSL from within the software. Anything else is wickywack.
pro-4 : The TTM57 behaves very different than the TTM56! The fader reaction itself is quite similar I would say, but EQs are very different, and well, you know the pain about the gain. (Wow, that was a rhyme! ;) )
con-1 : No, right now you have only two effects (basically 4) but its planned for the future to have as many effects as the DSP memory/firmware can store.
con-4 : Very very true. I dislike the buttons too, as they dont behave consistently.
con-5 : Not sure, but some stuff has been restricted to certain controls for the reason that they dont make much sense to other controls. Is that what you mean?
con-7 : True, the TTM57 bypass mode/"act as SL1 and TTM56"-emulation is not finished yet. LEts hope we get it soon, last time I spun I couldnt hook up the TTM57, not a biggy as I knew it in advance and I brought my SL1 with me.
