Hey all,
Does anybody know if theres a mixer case out there that would fit the TTM57SL with openings in the front/back for cabling hookups that way you don't have to take the mixer out of its case and it would stay around the same height of your turntables in their cases?
I'm lookin around at all the ata cases and they all appear to be only for transporting.. like you'd have to take it out of the case in order to use it.

There is one on the turntablelab website, that is custom made for them. It is made bay calazone, and I have never seen anything else like it. It also cost around $160 or somthing like that...
Nice case though, the closest thing I have ever seen to it is the rane case, with the space underneath for storage and all. In my pre 57 days I was gonna cop one of these along with my 56 and sl1, and hopefully leave it all hooked up, but the TTLab pepps said the SL1 would not fit, and I couldn't justify the cost...

I use the SKB Battlecruiser... I had the '56 in there before but it was a relatively simple procedure to move everything around since the '57 is a bit wider. It's all velcroed down. Believe me, I was pretty skeptical about velcro but the type they're using it takes at least 2 people to get the velcro to unfasten from the bottom of the case. Genius. If you run your cables right it can be as clean as a "coffin." I wasn't really thrilled about putting the turntables battle-style but I've gotten used to the layout.

I think I'm going to hit up TTLab this Saturday & see if they have one of these on hand. I think I'll call 'em tomorrow to check stock first. I've never been to the storefront (I know, bad DJ) so what's the closest subway station to them? Looks like the 6 and the L run the closest. I'm thinkin' the A to the L and walk down from there. My TT cases are old ass black Calzones so this should match nicely. I want to make sure I have a proper home for my 57 when it gets here.
