So with my SL1 i never set the thresh hold thing.... and it works great...
but with the 57 you have to set it..... and even then its really sensitive.. like when om scratching its quick to get glitchy... I am scared now to take the 57 out to my jobs.... and thats what I bought it for
it just seems unstable.....
SL1 is basically plug in and go.....
this shit seems really fragile

I think you need to either take some time and sort your problems, post mor info and let us help you, or call rane and have them help you. The 57 is as solid as can be, and many, many people on this forum have no problems. If you would tell us what computer, turntables, needles, setting, etc.. that you are on we could help you get it dialed in.

^^^ Very much agreed ... the SL1 has nothing on the 57 ... I have two setups going in the Dungeon. You just need to farmiliarize your self with the new features in the 57.

The threshold setting is there so you its customized to your rig and personal preferences, not to mess you up. It's there to help

Both the SL 1 and the TTM 57SL are the same across the world, for the TTM 57SL you will need a kettle lead, the SL 1 is USB powered so no problem there.
