i really want to purchase the Video Sl Plugin as i have read you dont need the Rane mixer anymore.
I have done everything possible to get the demo mode to work on my computer,but all i get is audio and no video.
I have tried loads of files that are acceptable, .mov and mp4 but nothing!!!

What am i doing wrong, or am i wrong in thinking this is possible.
All i want to do is test it out, before i make a purchase.

Any help please.

Are you running Scratchlive 1.9 and vsl 1.1?

when i was first messing with it, I didn't have 1.1 and 1.9 at the same time...thats probably the issue...

The Video Panel Key upon pressing is blank also, if that helps?

silly question...
are you pressing the "video" button in scratchlive to turn on vsl?

second silly question...
are you sure the files you are attempting to play are vsl playable?


if the answer is "yes" to both of the above then please post the MovieInfoBatch for the files that won't play.

also, since you say you "really want to purchase the Video Sl Plugin" i assume you are running the demo.

also, since you are running without the ttm57 you may be having an issue where although the audio for a video file is playing the visuals are not because the "fader" for it has not been turned up.
hope that made sense.

i would suggest looking into the manual for vsl on how to run it with sl1.
there you may find a way to increase the "up fader" for video.

i am not an expert on vsl by no means and clueless on how it works with the sl1.
