witch one would you rather have to run video sl #1 or #2

#1 store.apple.com

#2 store.apple.com

Number 2 because of the video card options.

#1 because it works and you don't have to deal with all the weird "which adapter do I need to do video" issues.

yea i went with #1......but i was thinking about getting #2 just cause it was the new model...you would think that newer means better

#1 has two firewire ports and you can use s-video easily. i have #1 and plan on buying another one before they disappear.

thats a good plan. I wanted a unibody for about 30 seconds. Now the new ones came out and I am still happy with my pre-unibody.

if you have western digital mybooks (hard drives) you can daisy chain them and use your firewire 800. that was the reson for only one firewire 800 port on the new macbok pros. or any hd that can be daisy chained. no loss of performance at all.

yeah but i can run my 2TB firewire harddrive AND a DV camera feed!
