Quick advice on Vegas (editing gurus!)

well I broke down and grabbed it.

I know sound forge pretty well, so im not totally green

but my big question is, is there a template you guys are using for saving your edits so you can go right into VSL with them/>

theres sooooo many options when rendering files im lost.
the few Ive done were dvd rips, and they look like ass after I take the alrady shitty looking (in this case avi) and drop it over to mediacoder to get the files into the 263/mp4 format.

any help or advice on this would be huge for me.

pretty sure twizzle uses vegas. maybe he can help if he reads this.

yeah...I did a bunch of searches...
but everything seemed pretty vauge, maybe thats just
where editing videos in vegas are at this point.
no concrete template yet

There are a number of threads that have the settings you need. They list out almost every setting you would need. Look up DJ Grandpa as he put together a template for Vegas awhile back.

ohhh...durrr..lol....yea, i read that one. i just skipped it sense i had already seen it.
