I bought 2 new DVD's, the first one ripped fine..
the second one said it ripped fine, but the output came out looking like this: (I tested it twice just in case..)

I'm using the HandBreak Video-SL preset on a Mac.
Has this happened to anybody else?
Can it be fixed?

Most of the times Handbrake will rip it straight from dvd without any problems. No need to use Mac The Ripper everytime...

right, but in this case he was getting messed up results on a particular disc using HB. under those circumstances, I always rip the disc to see if there's a disc problem.

Yeah of course, you're right, but his reply seemed as if he could think that was the 'process' on macs so I wanted to make sure he didn't waste his time doing this with every dvd he would rip ;-)
I guess it saves time and a lot of space using Handbrake directly and if there is a problem, then go to MTR.
