guessing so...I've used my SL1 for the last two gigs with great results. Kinda nice to travel light for a change. Your 2.4Ghz should be good to go. Go for it!

you should be fine with the rane empath, but you will need a midi controller.

So does SL1 now enable Video? I dont see what the difference is between SL1 and SL3. I have a 57 now so I guess I havent had to pay attention.

the sl boxes have nothing to do with the video side of serato. they are for the audio output. the sl1 is usb 1.1 and the sq isnt that great (compared to the sl3). the sl3 is pimp thou. if you want to do videos with serato, you need to purchase video sl from this site, or from a retailer.

Yeah, dj hes. With version 1.1 you can now use the SL1 & SL3 as well as the 57...there is even an offline video player (so sweet) It helps to have a midi controller for the video crossfades, though, which is why the 57 is still my weapon of choice.
The difference is sound quality between the SL1 & SL3 is a moot point with video, IMO.

Damn, that sucks that it is available with SL1, i really feel like I got screwed inot buying the 57! (I had the 56 with gen 1 macbook, so I had to get all new gear).
I dont regret getting the 57 though, it is a dope mixer for sure
