I found a site that sells used macs My partner bought one and has had it for 4 years ..The only thing I see bad is the upgrade to 2gb ONLY I read we should have 4gb

Other users are running at 2 GB. However, it always makes sense to get more if you are able, but you should be ok with the above.

IMO rick, if you can get the next model up. you can get last years mode(2.4, 2gb(upgradable to 4gb)200gb and the 256mb video card. the one you have up there only maxes out at 2gb(i think). also look into the 2.33 model. good luc

this will do the job. italso has firewire 800 which is a plus. the video card is fine. if it's in your price range then go for it. just upgrade to 2gb of ram. you might also want to upgrade to more hard drive space.

I do not use the laptop for hd I have 2 external both 1 tb each
Not sure it is $1100 and looks ok I just hate seeing where it says support to 2 gb and I keep hearing that is the minimum which is the video card so I know what to look for?

i would say 128mb would be the minimum. but check minimum requirements for vsl to make sure.
