Having problems burning my video mix to DVD

I use DVD Architect for 60 min mixes. According to the software, it only takes about 33% of the disc space.
We burn our 60min Master disc using a regular DVD recorder at the highest quality setting. Then we put it in Vegas to add the markers. While it is rendered It compresses it somehow because we end up with a smaller file.

arcitect does compress. when you click burn & go through the steps you will see a confiure or advanced button. This will allow you to increase the compression so it can fit it on the dvd. Ususally b4 you burn it would give you a warning that you don't have enough space. I dont know y your not getting this.

DUB, do you have an option of burning it to DVD9 instead of DVD5? A DVD5 will only be able to fit about 4.2GB of video data. A double sided DVD can do twice that.

What I have done it usually is render out of vegas as an uncompressed AVI and then import it into Adobe Encore DVD. Author it there and Encore will automatically render the video files to fit your DVD you are making. You can even control whether to have AC3/PCM/MP2 audio or whatever... works great!

Marx is right.
Also,
It may be better to ask this question on the Sony Vegas forum. They will give you the right answer within the hour.

I've never had that kind of problem on the Vegas forum.
I've only had those kind of problems with the Ableton forum.
