Bending the magnetic sensor on the 57's fader

I love my TTM57SL, but the only thing I don't 100% like about the fader is the cut-in. I would love to have it +-0,5mm shorter, but it seems to be impossible with the 57. There is a small plastic part blocking the sensor from being able to bend in the direction of the endblock. It seems to have been put in specificly for that reason.

Anyone else noticed this?
Anyone removed the plastic part and bend the sensor anyway? If so, how did you do this?

I agree! I just got a mk1 one 57 and the cut in point isnt as tight as my mates mk2! is there a fix?

Adjusting the hall sensors a little towards the endblocks will slightly reduce the cut in/out position.
