I'm trying to set-up my friends trigger finger to load effects/transitions and also the effect parameter.
(He has a ttm57 mixer hooked up as well as the trigger finger)
I can get the bypass buttons etc to map to the pads but I'm having trouble with the rotarys.
I can't get the rotarys to control the effects parameter or scroll the effects list.
any pointers will be great...
thanks..

never got around to re-trying it....
the idea was that someone could mess around with the effects while the other person was mixing the tracks due to it being our first video gig...
but we had no issues on that gig with just the 57 so never went back to try and set it up.
Had a few PM's back and forward with Nathan and his trigger finger was working fine in this office so dont think its a issue with SSL/VSL, More likely the issue was just with me :)

Hm, if you like to clarify what you exactly did I would like to try it out by myself - I use the trigger finger a lot.

it was the first time we has hooked it up to serato (normally only used for reason etc...)
This was what I was seeing.... (it was on a 2.4Gb Black Macbook)
I have got a button assigned to 'load effect'
When I try and click on the effect parameter knob in the MIDI GUI nothing happens. I had to CNTRL + Click to allow me to assign the rotary knob and it shows that its identified the movement from the trigger finger.
the 'load effect' button brings up the list but the rotary does not scroll the list and the rotay also does not control the effect parameter either when the list is not displayed

another thing - Nathan said that the CNTRL + Click on the MIDI GUI would never work to control the rotary...
but couldn't understand why I couldn't just click on the rotary in the MIDI GUI as this worked ok for assigning the 'load effect' button.
