Nice if u incorporate a shortcut to load songs into prepare section. Example "Ctrl+P" or whatever u want.

you can drag a track onto the prepare button and it will drop a copy into your prepare section, i'm not aware of a keyboard command as of yet though.

I hate to drag, is very decent and easy with shorcuts!

Please give us a short cut creater. IN SSL you need 2 Fingers for mapping, in FS 1. But for me SSL have a mayor bug or missing funktion.
You must work with the onboard keyboard. Why?

I work with FS since 1 Year. Problems? Not with 1.1.a and 10.2.8. in my opinion SSL ist the better base but without customizing short cuts Serato for me FS2 is the better choice.

Why? At first: A laptop inigrate Keyboard and monitor panel in one. Bt in a club you find a place for a monitor ever. But the keyboard place is near the turntables. Best place is in front the decks.
With a seperate USB Keyboard (Sep calc nummber block) you have the important keys near the mouse with scrollwheel. So you an save in build in keyboard.

You know. Redbull is not a friend of a expencive Powerbook!

Sorry for my bad englsh but i hope you understand my intance

Norbert,

pressing two keys for mapping a track is important as it is a security feature, after the 15th bottle of beer I guess it could easily happen you press a key by mistake, and if that is the map key... That is not good.

But I would say, user assignable keys would end that discussion.

I cant understand how you can say SSL is better, but just because of the keybord shortcuts you would prefer FS2? That sounds ridiculous, sorry.

It's just like some tools where you have to use both of your hands so one of those crazy things won't get cut up by something. You know what I'm saying? Security is important.
