does anyone still do house parties ? and if so is there any guidelines as far as any liability of our part? i mean i have a client whos wanting to hire me to do a house party thats why im asking any feed back would help thanks

Generally, I try to stay away from house parties. If you're content on doing this gig make sure you have a contract which will have them held liable if something were to happen. Also, have them held liable in case one of the party goers spill something on, or otherwise damage your equipment.
