What features would you like to see in Serato software?

Hi,

I do a lot of weddings and am always customizing cocktail and dinner music, but I have to manually move the songs around to try to avoid doubling up artists. It would be awesome to have a way to randomize the order of the files in the crate and then be able to make some minor adjustments, if necessary.

For what it's worth using RAndom or "Shuffle" has just as high of a chance of doubling up artists as sorting by song title, track number, or other criteria.

My best advice would be to come up with your own system (numerical or alphabetical) in any unused tag field (or simply the comments) and then sort by said field then use autoplay.

BTW doing the above is the only true way to guarantee not to double up on artists as you literally control the order.

You're definitely right, I was just hoping for a way to randomize the list and then I could make minor adjustments from there.

Exactly. A program as powerful as Serato needs to have all these little features!
