i just copped a g4 mac power book and reading alot of bugs in the 1.5 now i dont want to down grade to a 1.4 and hear theres a 1.6 what do my fellow dj's suggest me to do? wait or go cop it? anyone know a release date on 1.6?

I'm on a powerbook G4 too and I'll be using 1.4 when playing out for at least a while. I'm thinking about replacing the powerbook with a new macbook though and then I'll be forced into using 1.5. Hope it works better then...

1.5 is working great for most people. If you're not having problems I would carry on using 1.5
1.6 should be out very soon, probably in the next couple of weeks when the TTM 57SL ships.

true..goodlookin on da info ...yo joab someone told me that the new macbooks arent too compatable with serato?not to sure tho...and nobspangle you trying to say that serato 1.6 wont be released separtly without the mixer?
